Feel free to talk about anything and everything in this board. It does not even have to be related to this site or in fact related to anything at all. This is where you can relax and get to know the other role-players on Eternity.

Dreams Aren't Reality by Midor on Sep 5 2010, 06:45 PM (18) Posts in (3) Topics |
| The woodlands cover a large portion of Ilea and lay close to the side of the mountains. White birch trees litter the landscape making the woodland very unique and stunning, however, traveling north they begin to disperse and emerge as pine trees. Close to the heart of the woodlands lays a lake that reflects the soft beauty of the woods by surrounding it with a protective nature. From the scenery, the mountains can be seen hanging overhead while a river can be heard flowing freely throughout the woodlands. The river rolls past the woodlands and into the mountainous landscape, curling through miles of untamed forest. The ground weaves it's mark with dozens of valleys but the largest is the magnificent Ilya Valley. | | | | |

Altai Mountains

| The Altai Mountains stretch along the lands of Ilea for miles and miles. The foot of the edifices are usually faded with mist, allowing only the peaks to show. The Altai's attract many types of prey who thrive on its mountainous terrain, thus making it a popular place for canines to visit. Climbing the slopes is an easy task, for the rocky sides often produce ledges and shelves for a mountain climber. The Akeipria Stream begins in the Altai Mountains as a small stream started by the never ending glaciers and slowly curving it's way downstream. Benali Peak is the tallest of the Altai mountains, located slightly North of the range. For miles surrounding all sides of the Altai Mountains are the Altai's Foothills. | | | | |

Viktoriya Plains

| East of the Altai Mountains lays the harshest lands of Ilea, the Viktoriya Plains. Within these plains lay the Estrelle Steppe (in the foothills of the Altai's) and the Kamal Grasslands. Both these lands are hot in the summer and cold in the winter and hardly receive any rain. The Viktoriya Plains are hundreds of miles of flat, hard earth. It is the Dragonfly Gorge that brings life to this desolate place as the large Akeipria River carves it's own path through the Plains. The Dragonfly Gorge creates life for over a mile on both sides, the main water source in the lands. In spite of it's harsh climate, this is one of the largest gatherings of prey as they feast on the long grasses and lounge around the waterholes. The Viktoriya Plains is the largest place in Ilea. | | | | |

Cνes Islands

| Above the Magdalena Fjord, lays the Cνes Islands in the Lilana Bay. The Cνes Islands are a group of over 100 islands, both small and large. Some islands are just a hop away from the main land while others require a daunting swim. A'indora Island is the largest island, located just off the coast while the Ciryn Isle is further out and covered in pine trees. Other, unnamed, islands are scattered throughout the Bay and sea, some the size to fit a thriving ecosystems while others are mere sandbanks that are lost in the tides. Lilana Bay is the entering point to the islands as the water and calm and blue. Most of the islands are in a temperate rain forest like climate, minus the A'indora island which is almost like a tropical paradise without the palm trees. | | | | |

Magdalena Fjord

Just Hold My Hand by Rush on Aug 10 2010, 12:46 PM (5) Posts in (3) Topics |
Gentle waves wash upon the beaches of the Magdalena Fjord as a soft wind rushes along the Victus Glade. The Magdalena Fjord is a long and narrow water passage made from a glacier thousands of years ago that have retreated after the last iceage. It is what splits Ilea into two parts as the passage is over hundred miles in length. The Magdalena Fjord is a salt-water passage that is fathoms deep. The Victus Glade is at the end of the Fjord as the salt water mixes with the marshes. The Kantayeni Cliffs stand tall on one side of the Magdalena, able to support a thriving community while the Azalyn Tides stands on the other side of the Fjord, a beautiful whitened beach.

Nakwatcha Hills

| A mystical and peaceful expanse of various hills with each separated by the most beautiful of valleys. The Nakwatcha Hills provides everything anyone would ever need and a whole lot more with marvelous views from the crests of each of the gentling uprising knolls. Most of the hills are covered in lengthy grass however within the valleys below are quiet woodlands of deciduous trees. A strange but beautiful lake system lays in the Nakwatcha Hills, a place where thousands of waterfalls link the lakes together and a wondrous series of Bluebell fields stream for miles. To the northern reaches of the hills the woodland thickens and nestled and almost forgotten is the ruins, of old and forgotten times, resting on the top of the last hill. | | | | |

Driwynne Forest

Dew hangs upon each leaf and the forest is filled with music of a thousand droplets. Humidity clings to the forest floor as the endless cycle repeats; the sun evaporating the water, forming clouds and then releasing the water. Driwynne Forest is a rainforest, filled with interesting life and beautiful flowers. The Akeipria river overruns its banks and creates an estuary as it dumps into the sea, over a mile wide at it's widest point. Here is a place of wonder and secrecy as much of the land is unexplored such as the Arcane Ravine. The Driwynne Forest is the Southern-most land in Ilea and plays host to warm and tropical weather. Snow is unheard of here.
